an incredibly important message, rape is rape. no one is ever asking for it. a woman has the right to dress how ever they want - it is society that identifies risque dressing as ‘asking for it’, and in my opinion, that way of thinking needs to be diminished.

Not every girl is “asking for it”. There are tons of rape victims that weren’t doing anything at all to be targeted for rape, but there are also tons of girls that do A LOT of things that makes some guys target them, such as dressing too provocatively, getting wasted, accepting drinks from people they don’t know (which could be laced with Date Rape drugs), and going upstairs to make out behind closed doors. All of those things CAN make girls seem like easy targets, especially at parties, and that stuff happens all the time. I’m not saying that anyone deserves to be raped, but there are things you can avoid to possibly save yourself the trauma.
